If a girl recently asked you what your age is then you might be wondering why and what it might mean about the way that she feels about you.

This post will show you a number of reasons why she might have asked your age and why other girls might do the same in the future.

So, why would a girl ask your age? It could be a sign of attraction especially if she also shows other signs of attraction around you. She might also just be curious and she might want to be friends with you.

There are actually a number of reasons why a girl will ask your age and there are a number of things to consider.

Why a girl will ask your age

Each of the different reasons why a girl will ask your age will likely come with a number of clues in the way that she does it and the body language that she shows.

Below, I will mention a number of reasons why a girl will ask your age, the signs to look for and the things to consider.

She is attracted to you

The reason that she asked your age could be that she was attracted to you.

This would be more likely if she only asked you what your age was and not other people as well.

If she was attracted to you then she might have shown it in other ways as well by doing things such as:

• Brushing her hair to the side when she saw you and what talking to you
• Stroking her hair when talking to you
• Touching you a lot
• Standing closer to you than she does with other people
• Holding prolonged eye contact with you
• Laughing and looking to see if you are also laughing
• Giggling a lot at the things that you say
• Having dilated pupils when looking at you (peoples pupils dilate when looking at someone that they are attracted to)
• Pointing her feet at you (people point their feet at people that they are attracted to)
• Adjusting her appearance when she sees you

She was just curious

It might be the case that she was just asking because she was curious.

This would be more likely if you look older or younger than you actually are, if she asked during a lull in the conversation and if she was showing neutral body language towards you.

She wants to be friends

The reason that she asked what your age is could be that she wanted to be friends with you.

This would be more likely if she was showing similar body language around you as she does with her other friends and if she was not showing many signs of attraction around you.

She needed to know

It could be the case that she was organizing something and she needed to know what your age is.

This would be more likely if she also asked other people what their ages were and if she is older than you herself or if she was hosting an event.

Consider when and where she asked

When trying to figure out why she asked you what your age is it would help to consider when and where you were when she asked.

If she asked you what your age is when you were at a party together then it would make it more likely that she asked because she was attracted to you. However, she still could have asked for a different reason so it would still help to consider the body language that she was showing.

If she asked when you were both at school or college then it would make it more likely that she was just curious or she wanted to be friends. She could still have been showing attraction and it would help to consider if she was showing other signs of attraction.

Consider how she reacts to seeing you

When trying to figure out how she feels about you it would help to consider the way that she reacts to seeing you.

If she reacts to seeing you by changing her body language noticeably then it would make it more likely that she asked due to being attracted to you.

This means that if she reacts to seeing you by doing things such as:

• Brushing her hair to the side
• Adjusting her appearance
• Raising her eyebrows momentarily
• Adjusting her posture
• Moving closer to you

Then it would make it more likely that she was showing attraction to you when she asked your age.

Consider what her interactions with others are like

It would also help to compare the way that she interacts with other people with how she interacts with you.

If she interacts with other people in the same way that she interacts with you and she shows the same body language around them then it would be more likely that she was either curious or considering you as a friend when she asked your age.

If she shows different body language around you and she interacts with you differently then it would make it more likely that she is attracted to you assuming she changes her body language in a way that shows attraction.

Look for a number of body language clues

When considering what her body language could have been showing it would help to consider multiple signs at the same time.

This is because a single body language sign will often have multiple possible meanings making single body language signs unreliable on their own.

Whereas, it would be more likely that she would show multiple body language signs that all suggested the same thing for that exact reason.
