This would be more likely if she did not hug her friends for a long time as well, if she hugged you more around the waist and if she also hugged you tightly.

If she is attracted to you then it would be likely that she would show other signs of being attracted to you when she is around you.

These signs could include:

• Brushing her hair to the side when she is around you
• Holding prolonged eye contact with you
• Touching you a lot
• Standing closer to you than she does with other people
• Laughing and looking to see if you are also laughing
• Giggling a lot at the things that you say

If she does hug her friends for a long time then it could still be the case that she is attracted to you. If she is then she would likely show some signs of attraction around you that she doesn’t around her other friends.

She was feeling sad

It might be the case that she hugged you for a long time because she was feeling sad.

This would be more likely if she did it when she was alone with you and if she did it after talking to you about something that made her feel sad.

She might also have shown other signs of being sad such as:
